LA QUEDADA MÓVIL (LQM) is a participative documentary about a literacy and digital culture event.
LA GRAN QUEDADA, organised by the Town Hall of Valladolid and the Government of Castile and Leon.
After the Coffee Break in Cáceres, now arrives LQM, a collaborative documentary made with mobile phones with the participation of all persons who attended the LGQ (La Gran Quedada) in Valladolid, between the 27 February and 3 March.
A project that we undertook together with Ubiqa based on the model “Reporter@s-Móviles (“Mobile Phone Journalists) based on concepts such as journalism-citizenship and the web 2.0, which seeks to interact the mobile phone as a multimedia tool to generate useful information and creative contents in a simple and horizontal way.
LGQ, to which we have been invited by our friends of Fiumfoto (thanks!!), is a perfect context for a project of these characteristics, as, in an environment between playful, pedagogical and informative, deals with putting the new technologies within the reach of the entire world in everyday life. A fundamental objective for today if we truly want to bridge the gap in order to mitigate and seriously strengthen the digital divide between north-south, youth-adults or city-rural. If you are there one of these days, don’t hesitate to stop in and participate.
