ALMOST 18 attended VideoWeb 09, an encounter of video artists to exchange ideas about the situation and the potential of video on the internet.

In this context we were encouraged to talk about mass communication literacy by presenting our program ALMOST 18. At the headquarters of eitb nearly a hundred digital audiovisual culture fanatics met and it was the most ideal moment to learn about other approaches and to get to know about our educational proposal.

As the date coincided with carnivals we couldn't pass up the occasion and we turned up in our best fighting finery. We were the centre of attention given that, contrary to what we had imagined, we were the only ones in costume!!!

But it was well worth the trouble because there were many very interesting debates on the future of TV and video blogs versus generalist television. We also caught up with some old friends such as the folks from de ZEMOS98 or Cámara Abierta. And we met principal bloggers such as Rosa Jiménez Cano or Sergei Odintsov of Zitunlog, and a 15 year old lad who together with some friends has a very professional video blog.
